Caseirinho - Porto

Estávamos duas vezes neste restaurante familiar acolhedor. O menu é simples, mas é casa e feito com amor. Os cogumelos são grandes! Serviço perfeito, cuidadoso e rápido. É delicioso comer e beber um vinho de casa agradável na mesa, olhando para o rio e dirigindo em torno de bondes antigos!

Sometimes you stumble upon the best places and the most wonderful experiences when you least expect them. This was definitely one of them. We got off the tour bus and decided to walk to a restaurant in the area, after a few mistakes we ended up over here. Without any complications or delays we were seated (a party of 5) for lunch. The service was very attentive and friendly, it turned out that they were the sons of the people who were doing the hard work in the kitchen. I had my first sardines over here during our holiday and they were fantastic, just as I remembered them from our first visit to Portugal. Each dish was amazing and we loved every minute in this restaurant. The ambiance is very homely and you have the feeling of dining among the locals. A huge recommendation for an authentic experience.

We had a lovely meal while sitting outdoors overlooking the river. Our food was very good. The server had very strong opinios about what was best, and we took his advice.

This is truly a cosy restaurant with deliciously homemade food of fresh fish and d desserts. I’m sure the seafood is great too Bec I saw many customers cleaning out their plates like me!
