On our way to leave Daryl Adams GhostBike in South Australia, we stopped for dinner and a few drinks at The Brass Compass. We met the waitress who served Daryl the day before he died on his fat drive to Adelaide. It was a very nice place to be, the service was great, the food was a winner and the drinks were on the brand. That was the right place to think about where we were and why we were there. Thanks to all employees.
Great location, however service is very slow, even when not many visitors, we have to send 1 meal back as it was not satisfactory. Also it is always cold there as windows always open even in winter. Such a great space can be amazing place for meal and drink. 1 visit was enough for us to not come back.
This was one of the worst meals I have ever had. My chicken was burnt my gravy tasted like warm vegamite also my partner got the seafood delight 11 chips 5 very small calamari look like it's from coles in a bag The service was horrible 45 mins wait then get attitude when asked where the food was by the hostess . We got refund for our meals staff are **** rude inexperienced the chef need to learn how to cook The owner should close it's doors now to save embarrassment they just can't run a restaurant totally useless place no wonder there's no people in there eating.
I ordered a medium rib The eye was understated. When I told the waitress, she was so appealing and immediately took her back and got a new one for me. The staff is really nice and the food is very good
