Ric's Pizza Bar - Portland

What a great find in Portland following a day of sight seeing and a disappointing lunch at a fancy Cafe around the corner ! Although not on a main street this little place obviously does very well as we observed a constant stream of customers. Beautiful imported authentic oven that although stoned floored is not as advertised 'wood fired'. No matter, the Pizza here is traditional with an Aussie spin - try the 'mixed grill pizza'. Although not linked the Great Pizza from this place compliments the great fish and chips from the shop next door. Can not fault, highly recommend and will certainly return.

Pizza was ok, too much ham compared to other ingredients Pasta was very greasy and pasta over cooked and so soft that it had completely broken down Service pleasant Did not answer phones at all so no delivery

Good base and generous topping what more can ya ask for ???? no sizes though... hence the prices but all in all great pizza

2 "large" pizzas delivered to Bentink St for $40.00..... no drink, no garlic bread, $7 delivery fee. You know what? It's a lot. You expect that country towns are going to charge more than the city...... and fair enough: food costs are higher and turnover is lower. But so are property rentals and fuel when you consider the absence of traffic lights and traffic in general. The pizzas were good.... but not AMAZING and the service was fine, but not Brilliant. Come on Ric's..... give us 2 large woodfired pizzas and a drink, delivered for $40. I'd be more inclined to order again if you do.

We always get Rics Pizza. The staff are lovely and always fantastic tasting pizza with just the right amount of toppings!!
