Port of Call cafe - Portland

Lets start with the good, Nice location and premises and the food's reasonably priced. Now the not so good. I ordered a salmon focaccia and a long black. The focaccia wasn't great, way too much sour cream was used, this thing was drenched in it. As for my coffee, without exaggeration it's one of the worst I've had, very weak, incredibly watery and it came with this gross froth that I don't think was intentional. The instant coffee I made this morning beat Port of Calls long black with flying colors.

Excellent value for money. The $10 pancake offer is spot on. Great casual environment, lovely staff & yummy coffee!

Good place to call in for coffee or a snack. Footpath seating is very nice in summer. Food is at a very reasonable price. The food is also very tasty and they have a wide variety to choose from.

Nice to have a cappuccino and a latte at $3 each in this day and age. Good service and nice location on the main strip. Exactly what we wanted on a cold day.

We ordered a Caesar salad and Fishermans Basket. The Caesar salad had way too much dressing and was not made with cos lettuce, it was also missing anchovies. The Seafood basket was not worth the price charged. There was a small handful of chips and the flake was closer to a kids size. The lone prawn, scallop and calamari were bland and uninspiring.
