Mac's Restaurant - Portland

Waited for an hour for our meals. my meal, a chicken salad had no chicken and my men's meal was cold. spoke to the staff about the huh they then put out in a container. When I ran closer, a hired man came by to gather my husbands, he stood there waiting for me to finish my meal. overall very disappointed by the service, the meals and the price. will never visit again.

Waited a 1 hour 45min for average food! then was charged for my daughter water. if people are waiting for food that could be the least they could do, a child is to supply with a free drink!

We came to this pub twice during our stay in portland. the personal was friendly and all our meals and desserts were not only good, but all delicious! loves the brandy snaps, had pasta, parma, steak, risotto- all excellent!

We tried this hotel, as for a week camping needed a change. the eating was above expectations, although the personal noticed was flat. very recommended - must have a good cook.

Mac's is an old-style pub with some charm and old-fashioned decor but they did food well. The whiting was in fact whiting and well presented and tasty. Pricing was also reasonable.
