Lido Larder - Portland

I have been to the Lido Larder a few times now after being recommended it by one of the locals, but the first time I went there they had a lemon chicken frittata which was to die for, and every time I go back looking for it, it isn't there... the elusive lemon chicken frittata that I will permanently be on the look out for.

Isn't this a neat little joint ?On first impressions on wanting a sit down meal you think " This isn't the place for me"....A couple of tiny cramped tables along the window and another out the front. Don't they want people to sit and eat ???Then low and behold I heard the whisper of a dining hall just to the left of the business ( which you wouldn't have guessed belonged to them )...And what a hall it was, sparse , clean and abundant with Tables BINGO !They food upon gazing looked sensational upon ordering and arrival still looked sensational.Focaccia, carrot cake and coffee were the bomb !!! Loved it...Great taste and fresh . Everything looked to be made on premise. Can't wait to come back.One tiny negative cups needs to be bigger for a bigger coffee thirst.

Love the coffee and range of food at Lido Larder. Friendly staff quick service and we can sit and chat in quiet over the courtyard.

A very popular meeting place to chat and enjoy a cuppa in peaceful surroundings. Good staff, pleasant, friendly and efficient. They also have an excellent range of tasty snacks to enjoy. small in size but big on service
