Isabellas Cafe - Portland

After a cold day of sightseeing on the cliff top near Cape Nelson Lighthouse, it was a delight to have Isabellas Cafe nearby for a warm meal and a hot cup of tea or coffee. The food was delicious and nicely presented, with very reasonable prices. The owners were friendly and welcoming, serving as excellent ambassadors for the town by helping tourists get familiar with the area. Isabellas is a popular spot among locals for a casual meal or a sweet treat of coffee and cake.

I went to a charming blue stone cafe with a view of the natural bushland. I had the fish and chips along with a fresh salad for lunch, which was just perfect. The menu was limited and they didn't have Chai tea, but the service was excellent. The atmosphere was peaceful and the prices were fair.

This is a great place to stop and relax after a day out. I had the fish and chips for lunch along with a coffee, both were delicious.

No hesitation about giving a good recommendation. I had the fish and chips, hubby the meat pie. The fish had a light crispy batter and the chips were the best we have had in a long time. The beef pie had chunks of meat and tasted the same as the ones I make at home. Generous serves - both plates came with a fresh salad. We'll be back.

Absolutely lovely cafe, fantastic food and the cakes were delicious. One of the best meals we had during a three week driving trip.
