Edwards Waterfront Café - Portland

I went to lunch with my family and we had a terrible experience. a personal who was in the register screamed simply and said that she could not serve us without a statement that leads us to leave the restaurant. I've never been treated like that. she was really rude and mean. we are not local so we just try to enjoy a good meal with my family. very disappointed will never come again.

If I could give no star I would. I arrived with my family with 3 kids to have lunch and the woman in the register screaming that couldn't attend us. She said we have 1 hour waiting, 30 people in front of you. I asked if she had a waiting list she said No. So where were the 30 people?!!! The restaurant had so many tables available. I asked her why we couldn't take a table and she still screaming at us just saying that she couldn't serve us with no explanations. She was being so mean and rude that everyone stopped to watch it. Another staff probably uncomfortable with the situation came to us and said sorry she explained us that she didn't have enough staff in the kitchen so she couldn't serve us. We left the place very uncomfortable and unhappy with the treatment. NEVER COME BACK

I went with my family to have lunch at 1:30 and as soon as we steep in the restaurant a staff in the register scream at us saying she couldnt serve us. I asked why and she said we had to wait 1h but they had so many tables available at the moment. She was just constantly reapting I can't serve you without any explanations. We even through she did not want to serve us cause we are not local. When anotar staff came to say sorry and explain that she did not have enought staff in the kitchen. We leave very unhappy no one should be treat like that. NEVER COME BACK

Rude staff and very unprofessional. I don't recommend this place.
