He knows what he's doing. Such a humble and creative sushi cook. Everything tasted super fresh and authentic. Will definitely be back at the next visit to Portland!
Yoshi Sushi is located in the French Quarter Food Pods and will most likely meet your expectations of finely prepared sushi. Important request to order your food in advance (they sell out!
Yoshi is a wonderful and humble guy who makes amazing sushi. His devotion to Sushi shows in his food. I didn't try better sushi anywhere else because other places don't sell real sushi, no offense.
I had heard about Yoshi?s Sushi but hadn?t had the chance to try it. Go, NOW. I called ahead to order as required and the man working was apologetic with the 25-minute wait. I actually thought it was going to be much longer since it?s literally a single person in a food cart working, and after eating these rolls, would happily wait twice as long. I had the Lime Green add Salmon, Spicy Tuna, and the Salmon Avocado rolls. I got a little greedy and three rolls was more than I could handle for dinner, but I finished it off as a midnight snack. It was amazing. I loved that my salmon was a natural pink; not this weird dyed farmed salmon color. The rice was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Whatever the vinaigrette on the Lime-Green roll was, was so good. Multnomah Village is fortunate to have such a treasure!
Delicious and unique sushi. We found this place via an Eater video and thought we'd try it on our Oregon vacation. Called ahead and got a special roll with curry shrimp tempura and spicy salmon, a salmon and avocado and scallop nigiri. All were amazing and fresh!
