Shari's Cafe And Pies - Portland

I had a wonderful experience with my server thyra in the garden home Shari’s, she really took care of me and the needs of my party. I would recommend eating there to talk to her, such a nice lady!

Excellent service and Shari's standard fare of Home down home cooked meals. This one in particular the staff exemplifies awesomeness, is loyal to who they work for and takes the cooking seriously. Richard is a particular gem.

My wife went into the bathrooms and she came out, out of breath. She had the smell of bleach radiating off of her. She told the waitress and she went to open the door and as soon as she did, the bleach smell filled the restaurant. I personally work in fast food and there’s absolutely no reason anyone should use that much. It’s very harmful to inhale let alone barely able to breathe just trying to use the restroom. Customer service was great but will not be returning.

My waitress was very attentive and very nice. The food was good the loaded baked potato soup was excellent. I have to say though that they really really need an update there every booth seat I've sat in is uncomfortable and lumpy. Still had a good meal there though.

Most the time Shari's are kinda meh. I'd rather go to an Elmer's, but these guys surprised me. The food was excellent. And the nighttime hostess is so nice! I'm glad they're close cuz when I can afford it I'm coming back.
