I must apologize to Rose VL as I have been a longtime patron but have never written a review until now. This place excels at specializing in one thing and doing it exceptionally well. They offer a daily soup special, along with another soup option, and salad rolls. The soups have always been impressive, whether I order the special or not. During my most recent visit, I decided to try their take-out for the first time. The pandemic has made them experts at packaging everything neatly for assembling at home: a container of broth, a bowl of noodles, hoisin sauce and sriracha packets, meat, additional meat in a separate baggie, onions and green onions in another baggie, and cilantro, Thai basil, lime wedge, and bean sprouts in a final baggie. Everything came together perfectly, just like it does when dining in.
I love the soups at this restaurant, especially on Saturdays. I appreciate the fact that they only make 2-3 options a day, which I'm sure requires a lot of effort. The soups are delicious!
The soup was excellent and the service was friendly. The wonton noodle soup was delicious. I appreciate the variety in the rotating menu. The salad rolls were on point!
This is the best pho I have ever had in Portland. I visited the restaurant on Tuesday and ordered the meat pho. The soup was fantastic, with the perfect taste and a hint of sweetness. I would come back every day to try all of the other amazing options on the menu. Everything looked delicious and definitely worth a visit. The owner even mentioned that they sometimes close early if they sell out before 4 o'clock, so it's best to call ahead to secure your pho!
