RingSide Steakhouse - Uptown - Portland

I've been coming to the ringside for 40 years. Unfortunately, eating is not great. in the city there are better steaks. the lobster potatoes were like wax, the lobster dry and tasteless. we had these somewhere else where they were light and the lobster was delicious sweet, so we know what they could be. the crabcakes would have been crabs or, frankly, had no crumbs in them. with six people we didn't finish them. they were sticky and just not good. this is probably the largest food carrier of the evening where we live. local crab is in season and should be 90% of the content. the fried chicken was almost too salty to eat. the spinat was brilliant, the mushrooms great, bevelling rings reliable as always, baked kartoffel well made. as one of the oldest steak houses in the city has a hard time to win qualitatiw high quality meat is a secret. this is very similar to the review that I gave almost 3 years ago. this evening at the ringside is a family tradition. we go out of this ground there; the nostalgia, the service. the cash. the memories. I wish that was better.

The ringside steakhouse has been my favorite restaurant of my family in portland for 50 years. this is the first time that I was disappointed with the menu. it was very limited. in the past, I would order a first-class rib dinner that included a selection of salat and a bein. this time was not an option, unless they ordered al a carte. Although the twill rings and the cream glasses were delicious, the main rib was not as good as before, especially in consideration of the prices they charge for a duck, an salat and a bein. for these reasons it is unlikely that I will return to the ringside steakhouse. I will continue to check their online menu to see if there are changes.

Perfect service. eating was very good overall. a bit expensive, but it's worth it.

We always go to the ringside for special occasions. our waiter, james, has provided excellent services. the ribeye steak for two was delicious as well as our next dishes. the food presentation was carried out perfectly. my birthday party dinner was made with the atmosphere, wonderful eating, impeccable service and attention of james something special.

Food was incredible, drinks were perfect. Brian, our server was impeccable. Totally worth it.
