Pepino's Fresh Mexican Grill - Portland

Pepinos is an average, serviceable Mexican restaurant that has all the offerings you would expect. The food here can taste dry. The standout has to be the tortilla soup which is amazing everytime I've gotten it. If you're looking for a quick bite, Pepinos will service you and you'll come away most likely fulfilled but there are far better options in Portland for Mexican food.

Burrito is not bad. Its not. Its good and inexpensive. Wow factor? Mmm maybe because i picked up right at closing. But there was no wow factor with it. Will for sure go again earlier in the day.

The asada green enchiladas are superb! The Jamaica had great flavor, sweetened just right. The rice and beans are fluffy, with perfect consistency. ALL the salsas are great, with the verde and fire roasted being my favoritesLASTLY: Price. I couldn't believe that my pop and I were able to get 2 full plates, an order of chips, an agua fresca, a margarita (for pop), and more salsa than we could handle; for UNDER $40! Don't be fooled by how cheap this place is, the food IS QUALITY; and the customer service is nothing short of perfect.I've lived in the NW District for awhile now and can't believe it took me this long to stop by and finally give this place a go. I'll 100% be a returning customer

Yay! Affordable, tasty food! The staff is super friendly, and the portions substantial. Kind of hard to find these days. 14 bucks for two tacos, a beer, and chips?! Sign me up.

Staff were friendly and food was delicious. Minor complaint of sticky, wobbly table but not the end of the world.
