Merendero Estela - Portland

This is my second visit here from California! Their Baleadas are amazing, and the maracuya drink is fantastic. However, the service could use improvement, as other customers received their food about 10 minutes after us. It seemed like they prioritized the Salvadoran customers over us, being Mexican. The atmosphere is okay, but it would be better if there were more than one table that was functional, and the other tables were a bit awkwardly placed. Overall, the food is excellent, but other aspects of the experience fall short.

I've dined here twice, and both experiences were absolutely perfect! I'm looking forward to returning. Food rating: 5/5.

I absolutely adore the baleadas! My daughter really enjoys the tajadas con pollo (chicken with banana chips). My husband, who is Honduran, says this is some of the best Honduran food he has ever had. Food: 5/5

Having spent some time in Honduras we were really missing baleadas. So glad we found them and everything was fantastic.
