Le Pigeon - Portland

Our experience here was incredible. My partner said Le Pigeon “took his mouth on a spiritual journey. Like a culinary shroom trip.” Highly recommend adding on the foie gras spaghetti and meatballs we shared one and that was perfect. Days later I’m still maniacally talking about the foie gras creampuff, which had me freaking out for real. We were blown away by the food, and the service was equally top notch. Special shout out to Autumn, who was so attentive to my needs as an expecting mother, and at the end of our meal, she surprised us with a Le Pigeon onesie for our little one. I can’t wait to come back and check out the next chef’s tasting menu. Thank you, Le Pigeon staff!

Nice but too many competing flavors in most of the tasting menu dishes, the later items were too rich/heavy, and often there was just too much salt. Also, the foie gras ice cream was really pretty gross.

It was Mother’s Day with a party of 7, 3 of us were mums. The menu was a special for the day with a child’s menu available which we also took advantage of. The main course was superb especially the roast beef but according to the 2 that had fish of the day that was very good too. The child portion of pasta was obviously also delicious because that resulted in an empty plate to. Moving on to dessert I had the sticky toffee pudding which was the best I have had for a long while, light and delicious. The chocolate brownie also went down well as did the cheesecake. If there had to be a negative it was that there was no special attention for the mums, but all in all it was great and I would go again for another mothers day regardless

First visit to The Fleet. No special occasion, just dropped in with folks on Saturday lunch for a bite to eat. Really impressed. Nice ambience, welcoming staff and food cooked to order. Had mains and a dessert, all prepared fresh, and we all enjoyed our meals. We'll be back!
