K-town Korean Bbq - Portland

The service was very good, but there was a lack of attention to detail. The place was extremely dirty and greasy, and nothing seemed sanitary. We had to wait a long time before we could place our order. Once we finally managed to get a waiter’s attention, we had to ask them to come back for our next round. It was also unbearably hot inside, and there was a strong odor. The food itself was decent, and there were many options available. However, the overall experience was marred by poor service and cleanliness issues. I can't help but wonder what the kitchen looks like in the back. I won’t be returning.

I was pleasantly surprised by this Korean BBQ spot, as it lives up to many of the outstanding places I've tried in Southern California. They offer an all-you-can-eat option that enhances the dining experience. The bulgogi, galbi, and pork belly are all excellent choices and showcase the best of KBBQ. There are pure protein options available, including various chicken dishes. The seafood is also impressive, especially the shrimp. They even serve Taiwanese beer, which is an interesting addition for a Korean restaurant. However, the ventilation system could use some improvement, as you might leave smelling a bit smoky. Be prepared to do some laundry afterward!

The service was outstanding, and the food was delicious. While the prices are on the higher side, they are still reasonable. However, our table felt like we were positioned right in the kitchen. The main issue I encountered was the cleanliness; it was quite dirty, as you can see in the pictures.

The only reason why I cannot give this place a perfect assessment is because it can be extremely difficult to be a table sometimes. when they meet this place between 5pm and 7pm, ready to wait for an hour for a table. that means it is worth 100%. all their dishes are delicious, but I am especially in the spicy pork. they are also very generous with their portions of everything (especially the bonchon) and the cocktails are absolutely massive. the atmosphere is also really cool, it feels almost like a nightclub. a nightclub where people grill. I love this place.

First time being in Portland and we had a desire for Some Korean BBQ! The wait wasn't very long which is good, it was different having to order 4 meats at a time, but the quality of the meat was really Good! Spicy Bulgogi was definitely my favorite ! The food overall was extremely satisfying ! However what's preventing that 5th star in my review is the service, our waitress barely made rounds to check in or take our order, Even forgot a couple times to bring us meat after we ordered. I think the hostess seating customers helped us out more was very appreciated. I'm happy with our experience overall!
