Ihop - Portland

We needed some coffee and a good meal before making the trip back home. IHOP filled that need. I liked the thermos pot of coffee on our table, pretty good jo. My wife had a tasty omelet, I had a senior plate with a couple pancakes, two eggs over medium and a couple strips of bacon...for a reasonable price, our book buddy got the shrimp n grits with a side of sliced avocado...if shrimp n grits are on the menu, that's what she's getting. The service was friendly and prompt.

Stopped here as we were leaving Corpus Christi and heading north to go back home. They were extremely busy, had a short wait, but well worth it. Our waitress, Lisa, was very busy, but friendly and attentive. We hadn't been to an IHOP in a long time since the ones near where we live, Wisconsin, haven't been good in a long time, so we were a little apprehensive. This one changed our minds, everything about our experience was very good, especially the coffee. I had the senior sampler plate and my husband had an omelet, both of which were excellent.

IHOP is always my favourite restaurant. I like omelette and pancakes

It was busier than normal and they didn't have enough staff. However, the waitress, Lo, was excellent and very attentive. Tip that one big if your lucky enough to sit in her section.
