Port Side Grelhados No Carvao E Take Away

The Port Side is very close the main promenade of Praia da Rocha. The tavern is not very big but very nice. We got a warm welcome. The style is very nice. The tavern is specialized on BBQ dishes. Best Chicken Piri Piri in Portimao and excellent steak. Very friendly service. Compliments to Otto for his perfect care. Will come again.

The port side bar is a really lovely clean and friendly bar TVs for sports seating outside a good menu.well worth a visit.

This new bar (formerly know as Oliver's) is now owned by a very sympathetic couple Joao and Julie. Joao runs the bar and Julie runs the kitchen. Both of great quality! Every Friday they have live music in the bar, great to come, have a drink and you may even sing along with the music!

This little restaurant turned out to be a hidden jewel! First, if I could give this place 10 stars. João was absolutely amazing and made sure I had a great experience. He gave me a fast primer when the sardine season is in the Algarve, as I eat my dish (sardine the local way (the sardines give to the bread so that it soaks the oil and taste, and he even offered me a few extra sardines for free, which I politely denied because I was so full! The food was great! João warned me about the salty skin of the sardines (so cook the fish! and I simply recommend removing the skin and not eating, but I loved the skin, although it was salty! The salad was good and the potatoes were also! All in all, I cannot recommend this place enough. João took it to a completely different level, as was courteous and beautiful. I wish I had stayed next to this place so I could get back. If you are in this area, visit João and this absolutely sweet little restaurant, you will not regret it!

Excellent service, the owner is very friendly, tasty salad and typically well made grilled sardines. We ordered six and owners so gracious to add two without cost. Visit this little hidden jewel. We'll be sure when and when in Portimão.
