Jantar a um sábado á noite, com a sala vazia (chegou mais gente depois) com boa comida tipicamente alentejana e num ambiente a condizer com a comida. Apesar da boa comida, achei um preço demasiado caro para a quantidade servida, incluindo as bebidas e sobremesas.
We had an unscheduled stop in Portel last night (Oh, hey, a castle! , and we cast about for somewhere to eat. We wound-up at Cozhina D’aboim based on its Trip Advisor score. What great luck! The room was charming, the service was warm, and the owners are deeply committed to their heritage, their presentation, and their technique. During our three week culinary tour of Portugal, we have had several unforgettable meals, but chef Martha unquestionably provided us the most delicious food. Our advice: make reservations, don’t be in a hurry, and be willing to taste something completely new.
