Restaurante Martinho - Portalegre

We stayed nearby in the Convento De Provenca and had great diner in this restaurant. Dayly fresh fish and meat.

My husband and I needed to eat Local To where we were staying at the Conventa de Provenca in Ribiera de Nisa. The hotel recommended this restaurant as it was the nearest. It is a nice place, typical of the village restaurants in Portugal. I had a traditional alantejo dish which is my favourite, Secretos de Porco Preto, or Black Pig, served with chips and salad. It was delicious. My husband had the same and enjoyed it as well. All in all a very nice lunch of average expense.
