Boogie's Diner - Portage la Prairie

Boogies is a neighbourhood favourite of mine for sure. From the salads, to the hot turkey sandwiches, to the giant appetizer platters I have never had a meal I haven’t enjoyed. It’s a great place to grab a drink in the North End area with a casual, sports bar feel.

I recently visited this restaurant for the first time last Friday. I was a bit apprehensive about the location, but I was pleasantly surprised. They offer great specials, and the steak sandwich I had was delicious. The service was excellent, with a friendly bartender. I enjoyed a tasty meal at a reasonable price. I will definitely be returning!

I recently had lunch with some friends at this restaurant and I must admit I was initially disappointed with the choice, but I decided to keep an open mind. The interior of the restaurant was better than I anticipated, the menu exceeded my expectations, and the food was delicious! While some of the patrons appeared a bit rough around the edges, everyone kept to themselves. The service was good and the prices were reasonable, so I would definitely return.

I would definitely order from this place again, and maybe one day I will visit in person to see what it's like inside. The appetizer platter is a great way to sample a variety of items, I tried #1. Although I wasn't a fan of the onion rings, everything else was tasty, especially the mushrooms. They also offer a wide selection of wing flavors. The coleslaw wasn't to my liking, as it had a slightly bitter taste. The sauce/dressing, however, was good. I may give it another try for better results. The wraps I ordered were filling and delicious.

Food is always good although they always seem to screw up the orders each time , it's cheap and good. Service is good too. Coffee is always topped up.
