AALTOS Garden Cafe - Portage la Prairie

We were the only ones on the restaurant for breakfast. It took 10 minutes to get coffee...we were just getting up to leave! Server was very apathetic...wasnt sure if breakfast special was over, no energy , smiles or pleasantries. Ham on plate was it cut into tiny pieces, toast cold and covered in thick butter. Small servings and the bill was 15.00! Could have had this same breakfast for 7.00 in several other places near by.

This restaurant is located at the Canad Inns and I was staying there and I ordered dinner from here. Went down to the restaurant and placed an order and they called my room when it was ready and I picked it up and took it back to my room to eat. Ordered the steak and eggs. I really appreciated them being open during these times and offering some good food that isn't from a fast food place.

As said they are the best also staff even though young they work damb hard been many tmes never been dissapointed

My sister and I went in for the salad bar buffet for lunch . The service was minimal , and they weren’t busy) the salad bar was acceptable , the soup had minimal flavour, and the dessert bar was very disappointing the pieces of cake and dainties were dried out , the peanuts on the ice cream bar were absolutely stale !! I made my complaints and the young lady at the till didn’t even acknowledge them then charged me $47 for 2 salad bars with no drinks .!! I don’t recommend this place at all , was super disappointed

My Wife I were supposed meet another couple, but, they slept in. We had a nice breakfast. The food was delicious there was many good choices. We will be back.
