Marco's Pizza - Port Wentworth

Marcos is my current favorite pizza chain. Pizza can be great but the dough quality consistency varies. Sometimes the crust is great, other times it seems to have not risen correctly. The location gets very busy and it is hard for the employees to keep up, especially on the weekends.

We got food poisoning. a health inspector needs to be there ASAP!

Stop taking delivery orders if you don’t have delivery drivers. Ordered pizza at 5:45…didn’t arrive until 6:20…cold and stinky…and given a Diet Pepsi instead of a regular. Manager’s attitude is zesty and rude. Full refund ASAP!

Pizza wasn’t cut when I got home from picking it up all 3 of them and the wings are questionable I’m not believing they were cooked all the way I know they are cooked before packaging but mine was cold in the middle also was not sure when my money would be refunded for the cinnamon squares because they don’t have them btw I ordered online.

Horrible, just plain horrible. I ordered a calzone. It was ready when it said. It was hot. BUT, It WAS NOT GOOD. The bread was thick as hell. It was like they took a large or medium pizza dough and folded in half to make the calzone. Which is definitely too much dough. Then had the nerve to only put 5 pepperoni on it. Yes, 5 FIVE. I opened it up and counted. Because my first bite was nothing but bread. There was a guy with a light blue hoodie standing outside talking to two other people. Then he went inside to the kitchen. Walked around, then grabbed a can that was sitting on the side and took a few sips. Then he went over and started making pizza with his bare hands. NO Gloves. And didn't even wash his hands first. Him and another girl. Both just come from outside. She was also making pizza without gloves. One girl with blonde hair and long eyelashes didn't even have on a hair net, nor was her hair pulled back. A customer came in to use the bathroom, and she must have known a few of the workers. So she proceeded to speak to them. When she recognized the girl with the long blonde hair and eyelashes, the customer actually walked back there. Nobody even told her that she couldn't be back there. They talked, and then she left. Never going back. They nasty, poor hygiene. Definitely WILL NOT recommend.
