Three of us ordered the clogger burger, while one of us got a quarter chicken with chips. We also ordered extra chips on the side. The burgers were amazing and we all enjoyed them ($10 each). The chips were perfect and were priced at $7. I don't remember the cost of the chicken, but it was a good old-fashioned roast chicken. It took a while to cook, but the wait was definitely worth it. We were so full afterwards that we didn't buy any other snacks for the rest of our trip. I won't be buying anything from a roadside restaurant in Wakefield again. Next time, I'll call ahead to place my order.
Excellent little Big Burger/Fish and Chip place on the right hand side as you pass the Shell Express Station on the bend heading out to Adelaide. My Cousin and his family stopped at this place on the way up last Thursday and as we travelled back together they suggested we stop there for lunch on the holiday Monday. The 6 of us sat inside with chairs and tables. The menu is available on TV screens and via the old fashioned laminated menus...one for Burgers and the other for the chicken, fish and chips, salads etc etc. Eat in and get knife, fork and plate to eat off. Food was excellent, fresh and cooked on the spot for you! Fish and chips, chicken and chips, burger, chips with gravy, salads, milk shakes, other drinks all served promptly and with a smile! great value and super food and service
Its a cafe come reading nook come band space come masseuse come gallery.
Amazing waffles! Quality coffee. Vegan healthy. Yum. The sweet potato burger is amazing.
This place was very busy - usually a good sign, except that there were no other places open nearby. That said, the fish and chips we got (they had run out of roast chicken and there was a backlog on the burgers) was perfectly adequate, and quite affordable.
