The Food Co-op - Port Townsend

I stopped by to pick up a picnic lunch, and it was quite a fun experience. They offer a wide selection of hot and cold deli items, packed salads and wraps, chips, cheeses, and delicious small sweets that are all organic, fair trade, low in sugar, made with coconut sugar, and gluten-free—everything that makes you feel good about indulging in dessert. I tried the green peas and bacon salad along with a hard-boiled egg and a chocolate truffle. We parked in the sunshine and enjoyed watching the lively characters as they passed by.

I've been in PT for about 35 years, so I've seen this Co-Obrow. I love shopping in the co op and always find something interesting. I like the variety of teas and dark chocolates they wear. I'm sorry that the health beauty section was made smaller because that was my favorite part, but understand that it makes sense with limited space. Here you will find local bakery products, very fresh products and delicious snacks and delicacies. Very recommended! and they have promoted the ecological green options for years and the fee for the co op is just a few dollars.

Would you like to see your coffee beans or nuts before they're freshly ground? They provide enough herbs or loose tea for a single use, and they offer bulk items too. You'll find raw milk, local eggs, meats, honey, bread, and jam, as well as meals prepared on-site. It's essentially a co-op. Plus, they serve biscuits and coffee starting at 8 a.m. every day. Oh yes, this is a GROCERY store! Looking for local organic products? Look no further. I absolutely love this place!

I wish it had a seating area like nearly all the other co-ops in the Puget Sound region, but otherwise, it’s fantastic!
