Finistère - Port Townsend

Love everything about Finistère. I have been here several times and the food is thoughtfully prepared and seasonal. Service is impeccable but also feels like you're in a friend's house. Everything I've ever ordered has been really good but you shoulddefinitely try the croquettes.

Had a great happy hour/meal tonight at the bar. To start I had oysters on the half shell and a generous serving of the house red which was quite nice to start. ???? Then an excellent helping of the Fettuccine with clams; very tasty. ???????? Finished offwith a Bailey's alternative on the rocks. Alexander, our bartender/server, was most gracious and welcoming. Ask him about hisTriumph Bonneville a most respectable road machine. My first bike as well some fifty years back. This place is definitely on mygo back to list next time I'm in Port Townsend.

A delightful neighborhood cafe with a hip vibe, outdoor seating, a friendly bartender. We sat at the bar as the dining room was full. I had strawberry gazpacho, which was lovely, and the lemon artichoke risotto, which was packed with flavor I woulddefinitely order it again. After a day of shopping sightseeing in Port Townsend, we thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing evening atFinistere!

The food here is beyond delicious. I had no idea that deviled eggs could taste so good. The sourdough bread and garlic butter is something you don't want to miss. My husband had a tender delicious steak and i had the most amazing pasta. The people who workhere are so nice and helpful.

If we lived in PT we’d eat at Finistere every week. It’s that good. The clean, simple, elegant interior is chic and comfortable. The wine list is impressive clearly selected by an expert we had white Pinot Noir from Oregon, which wasdelicious and ahead of the curve (you’ll see! The foie gras appetizer is simply divine! We also enjoyed the pimento cheesewith house made saltines. Kale salad was exceptional as was the salmon and everything else. The service is lovely and our mainswere all of the highest quality and taste. Can’t get enough of Finistere. It’s fine dining at it’s best.
