GT's Port Stanley

Nice to be able to sit and look out over the beach and lake while eating. Have to agree with a few other reviewers in that the food here surpasses expectations for a beach patio bar. Quite a variety on the menu. Our table all had perch (some grilled, some battered) and enjoyed tremendously. The spring roll appetizers were delicious. Waitress was friendly and informative and got the meal to us in good time (although the place wasn't that busy, even on a Friday night.)

Group lunch and afternoon was well organized. Efficient servers and a fresh quality buffet all made for a good company event . Everything seemed to Co exist with the other restaurant guests .

It's lovely to sit and enjoy the action on the beach from this place. It is extremely casual and it's not an issue if you're wearing a bathing suit or lacking shoes. We sat at a beautiful raised picnic table near the beach and enjoyed cold beer and a plate of nachos. The nachos were tasty, but not inexpensive. We added beef, and guacamole and I think they came in around $20 With a couple beers and the tip, our light lunch cost around $40. I have eaten here in the past and that's kind of how it is. You go for the atmosphere and the location, I would recommend this place for any visit to Port Stanley.

Seemed busy but were seated immediately. Was after 5 pm so didn't need to feed the parking. Two of us had the regular hamburger. Was cooked well and the fries were great.I had a salad which was nice..The two young ones had children's chicken strips.Generous proportions.Service was fast and efficient.?Great view of beach.

Ate here twice over the weekend. Had a drink with a friend on the extreme beach end with lunch. The food was very good and the local beer was great as well. We were able to put up an umbrella and stay for a while, which was very much appreciated in the strong, sunny, warm July day. In the evening we came for dinner (as most kitchens are closed after 9pm) we were relieved to find GT's still serving food! The open air bar reminded me of times in Key West on holiday! Band was very good and perfectly heard from outdoor seats.
