April, our waitress most mornings, was exceptional - very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious with generous portions, and the view was stunning. The atmosphere was relaxed, and we never felt rushed. If you find yourself in the area, definitely give this place a try.
Food was good and served piping hot. Service was friendly and very good. We thought the pizza and beer were a bit pricey but my sandwich and soup were very reasonable. That being said, an overall good experience.
This restaurant in Port au Choix is absolutely delightful! After exploring the historic site, we enjoyed a scrumptious fish chowder lunch there. It was the perfect choice on a cold, windy day, as the soup was both comforting and fulfilling. Despite being new to the job, the young man and woman who served us provided outstanding and welcoming service. The charming lighthouse theme in the restaurant makes it a fantastic place to take a break.
During our visit to Port au Choix, we popped into this restaurant for lunch. The establishment was impeccably clean and appeared to have recently undergone a makeover. Situated within the Sea Echo Motel, our server was attentive and welcoming. I opted for the homemade turkey and vegetable soup, which was absolutely delicious. The prices were also very reasonable.
This restaurant doesn’t seem to have any recent reviews which is odd. Stopped in for lunch on our way north from Gros Morne. It was later so there wasn’t much of a crowd 6 or 8 folks at the back who seemed to be locals. We were seated immediately and drinks were ordered and delivered promptly. The waitress was very friendly and nice. My lobster wrap special was good. A bit on the small side but perfect for lunch. Came with a side and choice of pudding for dessert; I chose figgy duff which was very good. My Dad had a shrimp stir fry which was very large with lots of vegetables. Others also enjoyed their meals including a delicious cottage pudding for dessert. Would not hesitate to go back. As a note, we had lunch at both this restaurant and the Anchor Cafe. They were both good but this was our preferred spot.
