Pappa Louies - Port Saint Lucie

I've been ordering these guys for years. Never disappoint. Big pizza and antipasto tonight and was fresh and the pizza a great taste. I can't go wrong with Papa-Lautys.

First time visit. Family owned, for many years, so that's good. Had Eggplant Parmigiano,which was delicious. they make good sauce) I had the lunch portion,which was a little small and since I can't eat spaghetti came on the side)I was still hungry. You can order a dinner size, so I recommend that if you're really hungry. Also came with typical side salad and the homemade Italian dressing was very good. No bread brought, but it was lunch and they probably would have brought us some if we asked. It was a very relaxed atmosphere.I think b/c one of the owners waited on us, and were only ones there. My friend loves this place and has been going there,for many years. He only ordered a cheeseburger. funny that he thinks they're great, in an Italian restaurant) He says everything is good there and I would go back, for sure. Prices were fair but not inexpensive.

Great variety of food with even friendlier service at reasonable prices. And they have daily specials for lunch and dinner. It's great that Louie's wife and daughters have revived the business and brought back the tradition that Louie developed. They all go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. If you have not tried this place, you definitely should.

I got the linguini with white fresh clam sauce, the sauce was good and hearty with plenty of garlic and flavor. Garlic knots are good there as well. The waitress, which I did not catch her name wad very attentive and had a great smile. I tho k she was a new girl and if the owner reads this, she did a great job!!!! I will be back.

We truly enjoyed the food. They make their food to order. I ordered shrimp parmesan without breading on the shrimp. They gladly complied and it was delicious. My sister and I are Italian. She insisted that I go there with her as she loves their food. She is correct, it's fabulous. Best sauce (gravy) I've had at a restaurant in a very long time. Amazingly, their soda straws are totally hollow pasta!!
