Coneheads - Port Saint Joe

This restaurant is fantastic! Although it may not seem like much from the outside, the inside is a pleasant surprise. The service is outstanding—friendly and attentive. They have an excellent selection of local seafood, and everything is served quickly. This was my first visit, but it definitely won’t be my last. I absolutely love this place!

I had a lovely experience at this restaurant. The food was excellent—creamy, served hot, and bursting with flavor! The service was a bit slow since it was really crowded, and it took some time to get a table, but the delicious food made the wait worth it. If I could give 4.5 stars on Yelp, I definitely would! I also appreciated the ice cream section, which was a delightful addition. Overall, everything was impressive, and the diverse menu, featuring options from seafood like shrimp to comfort foods like hamburgers, was fantastic. The interior and ambiance were wonderful as well, and I will definitely be returning!

The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is friendly, and the seafood is fresh—plus, there’s ice-cold beer. It really hits all the right notes. I began with coconut shrimp, followed by a dozen raw oysters and a fried shrimp basket. Everything was tasty; it didn't blow me away, but it definitely satisfied my seafood cravings. The service was a bit slow, but, hey, you’re at the beach. I learned that the current menu is new, and the prices were noticeably higher than what was listed on their website. They also have ice cream and a variety of desserts available.

Please please please do not go to this restaurant I am begging you it was horrible. First we waited for our food for 2 1/2 hours. If you need time zones we got there at 6:27 and we didn't get our food till 830 so says Life360, when we got our food it was ice cold and our order was messed up. For six people it was 207.97. Our friends came with us which made that two families and the bill added together came out to 419 and .97. After waiting that long when we got our food, our food was very cold. My two daughters got chicken Parm that was hard as a rock and they couldn't even cut into it. I got the blackened snapper that was as pale as Casper the ghost! If I wait two hours for food, I'm expecting good food especially if it's 200 this place gave me no satisfaction and no good customer service when we asked for the manager mind you our waiter ran off and disappeared for 45 minutes. didn't supply us napkins or anything just ran off. letting y'all know the only good thing here was the drinks. and our cheese sticks for appetizers. We are just visiting here for vacation but just so y'all can get a reference in our hometown. We have a Mexican restaurant and for 400 which was the cost of two families eating at this restaurant combined we both could've eaten at our hometown Mexican restaurant two nights in a row and probably would've had enough money to go get a cool dessert or something I am begging you do not go to the restaurant I have never been to a restaurant that was this bad before

Since our first visit the others haven't been so awesome. I'm not going to mention service due to restriction of COVID and the lack of help everywhere. We get our orders for takeout. We have told them everything we want including condiments etc. But that's as far as the order goes. The last time we ate we had mostly burgers and chicken tenders. Tenders were over cooked, way over cooked. Burgers were all plain. No sauce, no condiments, no toppings, not even a slice of cheese! They were just plain, dry meat and bun. Luckily we had condiments back at our rental or we would have had you go back out just to purchase these items. We love ConeHeads but this was not a good experience this time. I'm removing one star due to this. This shouldn't be a make it or break it but with the lack of toppings and paying for them (bacon) it just wasn't good. We look forward to our next visit. Hopefully it will be much better.
