Down By The Bay Cafe - Port Richey

It was phenomenal! This was our first time visiting, and both the food and service were fantastic. There was only one waitress working during the lunch hour, but she handled everything remarkably well. Just a heads-up: they only accept cash! They do have an ATM on-site, but we didn't use it, so we're not sure about any fees that might apply if you do. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

I had the fried whole daily clams, and they were well-cooked; however, the portion was a bit small for $18. It came with fries and coleslaw, which wasn’t bad, but being from New England, I have high standards! I'd definitely consider eating there again. It's a very casual and quiet spot, reminiscent of a diner, but I do think the place could use a makeover to justify the higher prices!

The grilled chicken sandwich was juicy, and the bacon on the BLT was perfectly crispy. I'd definitely order both again!

The service was prompt and friendly. I ordered the Biscuit Buster, if I remember correctly (biscuits and gravy), and it was fantastic. The grits were also delightful.
