Dock Marina Restaurant & Craft

We ate here in July, and although the place was full, we arrived near closing and most people had been served. We ordered a simple bowl of chowder and a fish and chips. ONE HOUR LATER we were still waiting. The server seemed unconcerned about our reminders that we were still there. No explanation or apology was given. Worst service we've ever had.

Dock Marina is a pretty spot on the dock overlooking the marina...great view of boats and yachts in harbour.Delicious food at a reasonable price..had seafood platter and Hot roast beef .both meals were tasty..Enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere..fill out a customer satisfaction survey and get a free souvenir

Good food and terrific view on the Marina but I think we hit a dinner hour when they were very understaffed with no one to bus tables and a couple of crabby local regulars in line making tourists feel quite unwelcome for asking the procedure to put a name in. A bit chaotic both getting in and if you are large groups. Getting out. I saw a table of 10 take more than 15 minutes to pay 10 individual bills at the table, putting tips into mobile device by hand. At least we weren't rushed out and atmosphere friendly once we sat down. Great view by windows on the dock. Maybe avoid if you have a larger group and are, coming for dinner or lunch in high season I'm- or if you need food on a tight schedule. Right next to the theater on the waterfront - plan accordingly if you have tickets Fun gift shop on premise if you aren't too hungry to shop.

Great food and scenery looking over the docks. Chicken sandwich was good but it should not have been put on a bun, it was more like a KFC piece of chicken battered The fish and chips were good. We were told the portions were large enough for two to share but it was a good thing we both ordered our own meals. Service was moderate.

When we entered this restaurant we were fortunate in that we had no wait but were directed to our table and given a menu right away. Others had a lengthy wait for a table. After sitting down and choosing from the menu we waited over 15 minutes for a waitress to show up, none did until I took it in my own hands to hail one down and tell her that we were ready to place our order. After our order was placed there was another lengthy wait for our food. Several families were experiencing the same challenge, but they were trying to deal with impatient children who wanted to run around the restaurant. When the food did arrive the veggies were not cooked. The only redeeming factor about this place was the view and decor of the room. When I went to pay, I was surprised that the girl at the till, who was struggling to smile, commented that this was a less busy day.
