Maxwell Shellfish - Port Republic

My wife and I had an excellent time with their Classic Salts Oysters and Butter Poached Oysters.

Great place to buy some shellfish to shuck and eat right next to the store. A bunch of picnic tables set up, though one wishes that there might be some shade. Prices are reasonable $2.50/oyster), BYOB

Great! Clean, friendly staff, and of course delicious fresh fish ?. I am so glad I discovered this place as the seafood available at the local grocery store is limited, frozen, and contains chemicals. Other fish markets are also lacking. This now is my Friday go to for great seafood for the grill.

Hidden gem with amazingly fresh seafood. The atmosphere is beautiful and cozy. This family owned business makes you feel “at home.” Couldn’t ask for a better place to visit either by boat or car. We’ll definitely be back!!! Michael Erica
