Porthole Grill - Port Orange

This was our first place to eat in Daytona opening morning of the bicycle week 2022. We all had breakfast and it was delicious and cheap.

The bartender Thursday to Sunday are the best and the food is great. Breakfast is fantastic and its Chicken Stations and Pommes are the perfect pair for cold bottle of beer

Nice bartender... drinks were great and so was the food. I was on Monday afternoon, so it wasn't packed and that's good with me.

I must say that some of the other reviews about this place come from very biased, negative person. The food was very good. I had fish and chips and the part was big and good. I also tried her outrigger shrimps, and it was excellent. Excellent. The owner brought out new desserts, funnel cakeries and another new dessert. Michelle and Mike were excited to talk and I'm back next week. The place was clean, the bathrooms were clean, the prices were extremely reasonable. I found it to be a friendly place

Good times but the acoustics are terrible. The lovely and super talented rocker Jasmine Cain was playing acoustically. Still, if you can get a drink, patience is a plus! It appears the bartenders pool tips? If so, this explains the lack of motivation to actually tend to the bar clientelle. I observed them appearing busy by being busy but a guy sitting at the bar was trying to get a drink over 30 minutes, he said? Didn't take me as long after putting my up. We all have to learn patience and understand work ethics are no longer present. Maybe they can set up a self-service drink machine to replace the employees. Idk just a thought and an observation.
