Downwind Cafe - Port Orange

This restaurant is excellent. The food is great, and the atmosphere is very cool. It is located in the Spruce Creek Fly In at a small private airport. The pizza is awesome, and they also offer huge salads and sandwiches. I highly recommend this place.

Cute Plus. OK you have to drive on the runway. You have to get a pass from the guard to get in. The drive in is strange. People park their planes in their personal hangers on the side of their houses.OK now back the restaurant. It is a fun type nice decor. One side is small bar and the other was sit down food. There was lots to choose from. There was no complaints from our table. Service was professional and friendly. We found this place from the GPS. Glad we did.

We have visited this restaurant multiple times during our annual two-week stay in Venetian Bay. The food and service are both great.

Breakfast looked great (see pictures) but arrived cold-isch so like every good restaurant would do.....they took it back......and ? Brought it back microwaved and soggy ...taste was gone but it was hot now....also I don't think it was a great idea to let the staff meeting run 5 minutes longer and let 15 or so 70 year olds stand at 36 F outside to open 5 minutes late

Hidden gem alert! Tucked away inside the Spruce Creek Fly In is a restaurant that has captured the hearts and taste buds of the entire community and beyond. The pizza is top-notch (don't miss the shrimp scampi pizza or my personal favorite, The Carnivore)!! and the rest of the menu is equally delicious. The lunch menu is fantastic, I highly recommend the Mahi sandwich. For dinner, you must try the Scallops Sorrentine. Their Roquefort Pear Salad, priced at $7.95, is simply amazing. Recently remodeled with a fabulous bar area and now boasting a full liquor license, this is the perfect spot to unwind after a long day of work or play. Just a word of caution when navigating the Fly In - some of the streets are actually taxiways. Pay attention to the signs and avoid crossing the runway.
