Chicken Express - Port Neches

Huh was a dry and blanching. didn't give us anything to eat our cold shiny and kartoffels, and I had to get up from the table and go ask them. each in the restaurant had to go back to the opposite to ask a fork to eat.

So disappointed Thursday night. I ordered the delicate snackpack for me and a four-part, delicate eating for my daughter. included is my pick, 2 small pieces burned meat, and the mac and cheese were really noodles with yellow water. my daughter huh (which she only 3 pieces) was so chewing that we couldn't even cut it with a knife! not the typical service there.

Not sure what happened to this place. Staff seem stressed and upset. The chicken pliers are not as good as a year or so. And prices have risen significantly. For prices and low quality chicken, I can no longer recommend this restaurant.

After not having been to Chicken Express in a couple of years, we decided to get take out this week. My husband watched from the drive through as our order sat on the counter while multiple inside customers were served. Finally, one of the four employees brought his order to him and repeated the order apparently reading from the ticket, not from actually looking at the contents, because there was a missing item when my husband got home with our food. He called the restaurant and was told that only two people were working. He literally saw four employees. I drove from our home in Nederland all the way back to Port Neches to pick up the missing part of our order. There were four employees working when I got there as well. I was given the missing item and a weak apology for the inconvenience of having to drive back to the restaurant. The employee did not know that my plans had to be postponed to drive there, and my gas light came on while I was en route, not to mention the rest of my food was cold by the time I got home. The spicy chicken tenders were good. The gravy, which we unfortunately purchased an extra, was watery and unflavorful. The fried pickles were fantastic. The corn nuggets were not great. It will surely be at least another two years before we venture back to Chicken Express in Port Neches. Advice: Check your order before you leave.

The guy who took my order didn't get it right, then I waited for ten minutes at the window. He was just walking around while my order was ready, until the lady saw that he wasn't attending the window she quickly went to me and asked what was my order and handed it over to me. That guy doesn't want to work there or anywhere you can tell by his body language and expression. I will not go there again.....
