We spent a day at Flynn's beach recently where we continued our tradition of Fish and Chips by the beach. We were not disappointed. Munchies by Flynns was good value, delicious and the staff very obliging/helpful
I've tried the food here a few times, today was the most recent. Had takeaway lunch with my family from here and it was absolutely awesome. I had a fish burger and the kids had cheese burgers and chips. Real fish, real beef, amazing chips. (with decent amounts of chicken salt!) If you're in Port Macquarie and in particularly the Flynns beach area you have to try this place out. It's so good.
Love the people who work here, especially the bloke on the front counter who is always friendly. Chips are nice as well as the other hot food, the place stocks the sort of goods you'd see at any decent corner shop; there's ice-cream, soft drink and basic household items like deodorant or dish washing liquid if I remember correctly. I live close to the place and enjoy grabbing some chips or snacks along with some coffee from next door on my usual walks. Not some five star restaurant by any means, but it does it's job well, I don't mind the price so much, but maybe that's just me coming from way over-priced places like Toro's Mexican; speaking of, despite that being an actual restaurant the food over here is far better by comparison. Anyway, if you're looking to grab some chips to chill on the beach with, check this place out.
The address given by Trip Advisor is incorrect. This cafe is in Port Macquarie, nearly 700 km from anywhere in Canberra.
