We arrived at 7.40pm after walking from our accommodation, We asked for a table, this info was passed onto 2 other than members, Only to be told we can have takeaway only, we ordered and sat down near the door, We waited nearly 20mins for our food all the while the staff packing up, cleaning and Vacuuming around us, Very poor service it appeared staff wanted to pack up and leave. The Business is for sale it continues to operate and you want to try the place,,I would arrive by 7pm at the latest if you don't want only takeaway that is not as nice lukewarm by the time you walk back to your accommodation with it
Visited the restaurant with a couple of friends, On arrival it took us 15 minutes to be served at the bar with drinks not even filled to the top. Staff seemed unmotivated and as if they didn’t want to be there. Our chicken schnitzels looked and tasted like it was frozen from Coles and cooked in the oven. If you can’t even cook a chicken schnitzel you should reconsider your career as a chef. Probably the worst meal I have ever had.
I as a coeliac with a delicate stomach chose the lamb shank! Thought should be moist, falling off the bone! Wrong! It was hard and dry! How can a chef stuff up a lamb shank? Only got about 2 dessertspoons of meat. Accompanied only with a big serve of deb potato! Saving grace was the gravy! No real service to speak of! Nice setting but one place I will never go back to!
Just went to dinner here on Friday night. Apparently, they just opened after remodeling extensively. Beautiful job and the remodel. Their meals leave something to be desired. My friend ordered salmon and I ordered trout. My trout was not cooked all the way through and both dishes were heavily salted which tells me the chef is not trained. we ordered wine as well, by the glass. The serving was very small. An average pour is 5 ounces and I would say this was only for. I work in the wine industry, So I know what a decent pour looks like. I know they just opened and I will give them another chance and will write another review if warranted. But so far, I’m really not impressed.
Servers were so intensely uninterested in being here I’ve never seen less interest in wait staff in my life. The whole restaurant looks like a tacky version of what should be a really nice spot. The one star is for the lovely serve of squid I had for my entree/main. I ordered an entree of squid and a bowl of chips (please see pictured for $12 and $6 respectively for these dishes (squid was lovely but the bowl of chips was tiny . My partner had a chicken parmigiana which he didn’t like (I tasted and the cheese was burnt to the point of crumbling in your mouth . Don’t bother save your $88 bill (how what a waste of money!
