We ate the King George Whiting and it was cooked to perfection. Our last night there we had the chicken wrapped in prosciutto. Just melted in your mouth
We had dinner here for my birthday. The service was top-notch, very attentive and well trained staff. The meals and drinks were also of good value too. I had the seafood paella, which was plenty full of seafood. Although not as good as my mums paella, or the ones I've had in Spain-saying that, I've got high expectations, but the paella was better than most others I've had in Australian Restaurants, so its a winner from me. My husband salt and pepper squid was bland though and lacking flavor, not particularly crispy either. Overall, we'd eat there again...there was a great atmosphere and the service was exemplary. We might try other menu items, as the other dishes we saw guests eating, also looked scrumptious.
We arrived without a booking on a Saturday night and were accommodated without a fuss. The staff were incredibly attentive and professional. The selection of fresh local seafood was great - and as delicious as hoped. I chose the items on the menu that were highlighted sort of as signature dishes and was not disappointed. Great wine selection as well. Perfect if you are staying at Port Lincoln Hotel - just an elevator ride away from being able to sleep off your food coma! Yummy!!!
We were staying at the Port Lincoln hotel and were told about the restaurant and decided ti visit well thank you for the recommendation , we were greeted by Benjie who would be our waiter for the evening and what a good character and service provider he turned out to be his recommendation for the Fishermans Platter for me and the King George Whiting for my wife was an excellent choice with Boston Bay Chardonnay all i can say this was the most scrumptious meal we have enjoyed so far on our journey , if you visit port lincoln you must give Sarins a definite try as we totally enjoyed our expierience.
We had travelled from Adelaide and were glad the restaurant was still open. As we a couple we shared the amazing local oysters both fresh and Kilpatrick. We both opted for the whiting for our mains which was expected fresh and cooked beautifully. The meal came with potatoes but I felt like chips and this change was made without an eyebrow raise or an extra charge. A few white wines and great seafood was just what we needed!
