E.B'S Bar & Grill - PORT KEMBLA

We ordered the Barramundi Burger and a steak. I have to star with the steak, we ordered it with an extra serving of egg (which strangely was not in the burger but served separately) and onion rings as well as "winders" which are curve shaped chips which come with all burgers. Much better than the steak, the burger was just the right size and the winders were very good and the onion rings made the steak a little better. It was a little weird eating the egg add on the ordered with the burger, one would expect that an extra egg ordered with a burger is served inside the burger but not a big deal. Next in what is easily the BEST PART of the meal is HIGH RECOMMENDED is the bruschetta! The bruschetta comes in a very generous serving and is served with a very fresh tasting juicy bread. Really made the meal for us i'd much rather have this than that steak again.Lastly was the steak which came with a salad and a baked potato. First of all i have to say this was the saddest steak i have ever seen. It was SO SMALL, down the road is a chinese restaurant called "Food World" and they've managed to serve me a better and larger piece of steak for $10 than what these guys did for $20+. Maybe we just didn't spend enough money on the steak. Would i recommend coming? The other food made up for it, that bruschetta alone saved the meal already and those onion rings and winders were great as well as of course the Barra burger. Additionally their service was top notch and you can tell the servers were giving a lot of care into the service. So yes i would recommend it. But i cannot recommend this place as a steakhouse, maybe by ordering other steak we can find something better but as it stand at the moment we did not during this occasion.

I visited Gibsons for a week while dog sitting for a friend.

The server lacked professionalism. They were not knowledgeable about the food they served. When clearing the table, the server had cutlery in one hand and nearly hit my sister-in-law with it.

I visited this restaurant with my family for the school/restaurant's anniversary promotion. We enjoyed a delicious three-course meal for just $20.
