Very good food. We went there after a South Padre vacation. The only thing I would suggest is having some good-spicy chile (salsa) for the Mexican food. They only had the salsa for the chips and tabasco as well. We are from El Paso and crave the spicy chile they have available at all Mexican restaurants. Other than that, we highly recommend it. Oh, and their breakfast tacos are huge and delicious.
Hidden gem. Staff is always friendly. Food is excellent and reasonably priced. This is where the locals eat, which is the first sign it's good. It was busy, but service was never compromised. We were frequently checked on and our coffee topped off. Breakfast tacos are huge and delicious!
Family owned and operated and it feels like a true old school diner!
