Suchi Ichiban - Port Hueneme

The sushi here is quite good. Depending on what you choose, the experience can range from good to great. I particularly enjoy the tuna sushi rolls. The sashimi, on the other hand, was just okay.

Although we have many great sushi restaurants in the area, the inviting neighborhood vibe, friendly staff, and high-quality sushi at reasonable prices make this place my top choice. I'm particularly fond of their daily lunch specials, which always feature a fantastic mix of nigiri and sashimi.

Best Sushi Restaurant! I've been there before and it remains a favorite. The sushi is not only delicious, but the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. They truly prioritize their service. I visited once, and when I returned just a week later, they remembered me! This will always be my go-to sushi place. Just a heads up for anyone looking to dine during dinner hours—it gets really packed!

I thought it was pretty good. We went to a Wed night and the place was empty. You're busy at lunchtime because of the base. felt bad for the place for how empty it was, but the sushi and sashimi was good. We ordered a Sashimi Dinner Plate sampler and a baked yellow Flo tuna reel that we shared. The tuna was slightly baked for a hint of cripple, I liked it a lot. I'll go back.

Good sushi and hand rolls. Not a ton of variety in the special roll department but they ones I've had have been very good. The prices are reasonable and good service.
