Roxsbury Deli - Port Hueneme

Every-time I have eaten in this deli, I ask myself why do I bother. The food is really boring and bland. The first time I had a tuna sandwich and my guy had a tuna salad, we both ended up with food poisoning. Never to be eaten again. Unfortunately, there is really nothing I could suggest that is good. The food pretty much sucks and the sports on tv any hour of the day, just makes this place worse, I didn't know this was also trying to be a sports bar!!!

The waitress, who I believe was named Laura, was wonderful. She served us with a smile and provided excellent service. Food: 5/5.

The food was mediocre, and the prices were steep considering the portion sizes. On the positive side, the restaurant was clean, and the service was prompt. However, there were few waitstaff available, so we had to flag someone down for refills. I likely won’t return.

Terrible experience. I ordered the potato skins and ended up paying $12 for just 2.5 potatoes. They had hardly any cheese, very little bacon, and only a few green onions scattered on top. I was extremely disappointed. I also tried the chicken and rice soup, which was so salty that I could barely finish it. It seems like they have to load their food with salt to make it palatable, but all I could taste was salt. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
