Capt'n Kenny's Fresh Fish & Chips

We tried Capt'n Kenny's Fish and chips when we were in Port Hawkesbury. They were delicious! Freshly made to order. The sauce was also delicious. If we return to Cape Breton we will go back to eat here again.

Best fish and chips we had on our fish and chips trail... Crispy, flaky fish in a delicate batter served with a great homemade tartar sauce. We ordered one plate with 2 pieces of fish, it was huge... Great experience ...

It is a food truck but they had the best fish strips and chips that I ever had. They serve them freshly cooked so watch out very hot yet fish was moist and chips are crispy. It was only $10 as it was their special of the day. I miss them so much.

Capt'n Kenny and Crew have the most amazing seafood that I have ever eaten! I crave the fresh seafood served from his food truck and have shared my experience with all my relatives & friends in Nova Scotia, encouraging them to eat there. His fresh prepared coleslaw and sauces are fantastic! The serving sizes are huge, way more than I can eat in one sitting. My kids and I ate there frequently during our vacation in Cape Breton. Sadly, however, we have returned home to California, and will be missing out on the Captain's absolutely delicious food; fish, shrimp, fries, poutine, & summer salad. I can guarantee that we will be back to enjoy many more meals at Capt'n Kenny's in Port Hawkesbury. I'm already missing it! Thank you, Capt'n Kenny & Crew! Looking forward to next summer! This is my first visit to the Capt'n but not my last. The fish and calimari I had was soooo yummy I wouldn't mind going back right now. All the seafood was prepared and cooked while I was watching and was done so right.Kenny, you have a good crew as the young ladies are keeping standards high.
