Hoover's Marina & Wharfside Restaurant

We always make sure to visit a few times in the summer to enjoy a fish dinner by the water. Once again, we were not disappointed. We ordered the bass, pickerel, and shrimp dish. It was absolutely delicious and we devoured every bite. The service was friendly and we will definitely be returning in the future.

Be not in a hurry. very slower service, 2 hours to get eat, boardline round server as if we harass them by asking for 1 1/2 hours if we could get our food. do not go back what is too bad because this spot is a precious stone.

Went to marina for supper with 2 friends on Sat. Got there at 6:15, sat and waited for 30 mins before a waitress finally asked if we wanted drinks. She brought the drinks, took our food orders and we sat for an hour. Finally she...brought my appetizer out, we sat for another 30 mins and my friends still hadn't got their food. The owners daughter was walking by and I mentioned nicely to her that we had been waiting for an hour for our food. She asked me rudely, if I wanted to see the bill time. She brought it over and stated rudely that it had only been 35 mins! We decided to leave, and went to pay for our drinks. Rae the owners daughter argued with me about the dinner order and time we had been sitting. She then couldn't get my change right, and stated rudely in front of everyone..and don't come back!!! I have been going there for 40 years and worked there a few years ago. I have never been treated so rudely or had such bad service.

We regularly boat over to this restaurant and last Friday morning was great as always. Delicious breakfast with generous portions on waterfront patio! Heaven! Our waitress was professional, attentive and sweet. Love this place!

The bread was missing, which made it harder and left a greasy taste. When we brought this up, the server explained that they had a young chef. The entertainment was enjoyable, but there are many better dining options available.
