Walter's and Neptune's Restaurant

If you enjoy lamb, you must try their delicious Lamb burger.

The wings are juicy, although smaller compared to Blue Star in Welland and Joe Dog in Burlington. The prime rib is a great value at $21 for approximately 16 ounces.

My friends and I had lunch at Walter and Neptune's on Sunday. There were five of us in our group. After reading the other reviews, my expectations of this restaurant were not very high.

Service was very extremely slow as molasses but the waitress was very friendly and helpful. It seems that they were very shorthanded. :(

We were here for lunch while on vacation and arrived at about 11:45 a.m There was only one server looking after the place and there were approximately 6 people in the restaurant. She came over right away and asked if we wanted a beverage, dropped off menus and told us of any specials. Within minutes she took our order and by this time, the place was filling up for lunch. She was EXTREMELY organized and never let anyone wait. My partner had asked for a piece of bread with her dish which the server promptly brought us in spite of the number of tables she was serving. I had the mussels which were delicious and plentiful for the price. My partner had clam chowder which was delicious too.
