Erie Cove Restaurant & Bar

Price extremely high for 2 tiny pieces of fish. The service was terrible, never got the ketchup, had to go and ask for salad dressing. The tables were dirty, the servers were wearing clothes with stains.

The young server was very polite but the place is not clean and very unorganized , we should have gone with our gut feeling and turned around when we seen food left on tables from previous customers. In fact after we had our dinner which really was not good the food was still on those tables when we left!

We walked into the restaurant,it was empty at approx 5pm. We asked the young guy at the desk if they were open and he said yes, so we hesitated but sat anyway. the owner/cook said it was slow because it was out of season wait until the long weekend and there will be lineups not sure he remembered where he was) The young fellow took our order for drinks so we ordered Caesars and Ice tea, we were told later that they weren't ready to serve alcohol and they were out of Ice tea. another reason we should have trusted our gut feeling. We ordered 2 platters 36.00 each and comes with a pound of perch,fries,coleslaw,and a panini bread,and tarter sauce. We also asked for 2 orders of gravy. did I say we were the only ones in the restaurant) our fries and salad came out 20 mins later, we had to ask for the gravy twice since the fries came out. 10 mins later the gravy from a can was microwaved and came out to us. approx 10-15 later our fish came out divided out amongst 4 plates, what appeared to be 1lb for 4 plates, we received 4-5 fillets it was over cooked and to the point of dried out. I would say it was frozen fish thawed and cooked. We asked if the bread/panini was coming and the server said I don't know if it comes with bread 5 mins later he came back to the table to tell us yes it comes with garlic bread so I asked when do we get that? for desert? He could sense we were not happy with the meal so he tried to make it right and said he will take 10% off each bill. We went to the front till area to pay the bill and he deducted 10 cents off each bill. I have never been so disgusted with a restaurant as i have with this one. We will never set foot back inside it again.

My friend and I were the only diners in the restaurant when we visited. We ordered the perch dinner for two. It was underwhelming. The fish was so over cooked it was dry. Vegetable was also over cooked. Fries were not hot and made from frozen fries. The cook kept coming to our table and talking about anything and everything but food. Hands down the worst dining experience I’ve had.

They offered fish, Perch or Haddock, and chips. Good for lunch. The service was fast and I could feel a home cooked meal.
