Turtle Island Fish & Chips

Ordered fish dinner for two, received only one plate with combo and small portions with a single coleslawMeal was just okCost was 27 dollars.

They charged my parents who are in their 80's a surcharge for a extra plate so they could share their meal. Not a classy move so we won't be back.

Had the clam chowder and while the ingredients were very fresh, I felt it was still rather unremarkable and overpriced.

Friendly service. We set out to find the best fish and chips within an hr or so of Bowser where we are staying for a while. Fish portions were small compared to other restaurants we sampled in Campbell River, and Qualicum Beach. And both fish...and chips were oily. Flavour was good. Would go back if I was alreay in Port Alberni. Not the world's best fish and chips, but good in our opinion.

Went in to get a take out order for lunch. The place is so fresh and clean. The halibut and chips were great. Fabulous chips! They kindly brought over to my own business for me to enjoy. Welcome to the neighbourhood! Terry
