The Donut Shop - Port Alberni

Simple little shop, with yummy cake donuts. Best cake donut I have had in a while, several flavours to choose from and the price was reasonable.

Quaint waterside doughnut shop - old style, holes and all, yet no donut holes! They were tasty, we gobbled them up.It is a real doughnut shop, not like Tim's who just aren't baking the variety they used to be popular for.There were no crullers here, nor claws, nor orange twisties. Just plain old fashioned cake donuts with lots of great varieties.

The best donuts anywhere! Parking can be a problem but it's worth the challenge to find a space! They even have a donut with bacon on it!

May not be a fair review as they were very busy for Canada day and keeping up with the demand meant sloppy production. It was an average sugar donut with a little bit of a dry cake base. The coffee was also very average and lots of other options in the area may be worth looking at.

Must admit that these are pretty damn good donuts?Are they the best on Vancouver Island? I feel I ought to eat a few more before I decide...So go, go and try these tasty donuts and judge for yourself!If you are in Port Alberni or passing through, stop and enjoy.
