Outstanding food! I'm a meat lover but I ate breakfast here a few times and it really carries through the day and makes me feel great. Perfect place to go after a night of guilty pleasures. Last I saw they were in need of a bigger sign out front

It is such a treat to find veg/vegan restaurant on our travels! Richard is friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about his offerings, sharing tips and recipes on how to re-create meals at home. The vegan waffles were topped with delicious fresh fruit and vegan whip cream . The avo sandwich was stacked with veggies and ayummy avocado sauce blend on delicious thick brown bread. Too big to eat! Gluten-free options available. Kombucha, hot and iced teas and coffees. Such a gem!

Wow, the people said go to Tofino but no, go to the hwy side little river gorge and play in the crisp cool water, jump off the rocks, then go back to this most delicious gem in port alberni. Even my meat-loving partner devoured his double veggie burger with cheese. I would have loved to have tasted his iced teas made from the blackberrries the chef had picked that morning, we sadly had to make a mad dash to make a ferry, but he ever carefully plates then re packed our meals to-go. Thank you ever so much for leaving a lasting impression on our stomachs as he headed back to the states! The prices were more than reasonable for the flavor action packed meal we enjoyed!

Outstanding food. Vegetarian and vegan establishment with terrific quality, service, and menu. The portions are a good value, and of course they taste great. The flavor combinations and amazing. We arrived for dinner (random selection off of Google Maps searched vegan and we were just around the corner and thankfully, our luck, chose the closest spot) and had a vegan bowl and vegan burger. We 've eaten plenty of vegan burgers between here and California, and this burger was the best we 've had. The bowl had a wonderful sauce, and each element (and there were many) was flavored to perfection. Absolutely *delicious*. The chef deserves much respect. We 'll be back each time we 're in the area. Check it out! Even if you aren 't vegan, you 'll be impressed.

Wow. Just finished lunch. Super tasty, totally healthy with G/F vegan options. Friendly staff and great coffee.
